Moments

"When did you first realise you loved me?"  

   
I always have a hard time answering my lady that question    
because I never knew a time I didn't love her  
from the first moment we talked  
briefly getting to know each other    
before I had to leave briefly to get ready for work
when I returned; walking up that pavement next to the road    
seeing her smiling there  
this was just one of many special moments   
   
there are times that stand out    
like the first time we kissed    
we closed our eyes and bumped teeth    
after a good laugh we decided to try again   
the second kiss was so much more amazing  
afterwards I knew I would want no other  
   
there are too many moments to speak of  
so I'll say the "moments" I realise I love her  
is every day I wake up  
when I look over to see that pretty face  
I fall in love with her every second of everyday  
and when I look deep into her eyes  
I can't even tell who loves who more  

it's the fucking best kind of feeling ever
